Day 44 - 45 - Osh

We had another day till our uzbek visa starts...and that day we will spend in in Osh. Osh is the second biggest city in kyrgyzstan... Its superclose to the uzbek border and therefore a lot of uzbek people life there. Its a very oriental mix as this is one of the first original silkroad cities.

Afterwards we strolled trough to an amusement park. It was superpacked. That sunday was national day and all city was out and about and played in the park. Young men tried to impress the local beauties beating the hammer or by trying to hang as long as possible on a pole. All was fun watch but in the afternoon we had to go back to bussines and tend the horses.

Our bikes needed an oilchange and a few people told us about patrik. A swiss guy who runs a motorbike tour company in osh and is the man for motorbikes in kyrgyztan. He really has an impressive place - a Bikers paradise.. A back lawn full of bikes and land rovers. All ready to go. There was also a big container full of spares and tools. Its really a big professional bussines with a very good laidback vibe... But a operation like this costs its price and so was our maintainance also a bit pricey. Anyway. We where glad the bikes where good to go and even got some useful information about motorbikes from patrik. We are still learning by doing and its always good to watch the masters at work.
That evening we went for a big shaslyk dinner. Delicious!
Ready for tomorrow - Uzbekistan!
